LIFEPAC is the Christian curriculum IHICA uses for grades K-2. Designed by a team of accomplished educators with years of classroom experience, LIFEPAC is based on the principle of mastery learning. Students master content in each unit worktext before progressing to the next. Ten LIFEPAC worktexts provide one full year of learning content per grade level; individual worktexts can also be used as supplemental material. In addition, we can mix and match subjects or grade level worktexts to personalize each student's curriculum content. Individual worktexts take approximately 3 to 4 weeks to complete.
LIFEPAC has mastery-based lessons which helps students master each concept before moving onto the next. Mastery is built through reading the lesson, doing activities and questions, interacting with teachers, and completing tests. LIFEPAC is a full-color, print-based curriculum that also promotes critical thinking skills. LIFEPAC conveniently combines a workbook and textbook into worktext units that are completed every three to four weeks. Lesson questions and quizzes are completed within curriculum. (Kindergarten students are not tested.)
